When does “You” mean ”Y’all” (1 Cor 3:16)

Are you (singular) or all of you (plural) the temple of God, and what would it look like if we really understood this truth?

How do we know if he is referring to "you, as a group" are God's temple, and not "y'all, individually" are God's temple? After all, we all, individually, have the Spirit living in us, and He does not only live in us "as a group"...

In 1 Cor 6:18 Paul uses the singular you and your to refer to a persons body. In verse 19 he switches to the plural use of you and your. Is Paul saying that when we commit sexual sin, we are sinning against our bodies individually, or is he saying we are sinning against the collective body, the church? He has already made the point that we have sinned against our individual body, but I think it would be a powerful statement if he is saying we also sin against the church. Thus in immorality, we sin against Christ, our bodies, and the temple of God?
