Two unusual time designations (Matt 26:55,64)

Time designations in Greek can be a little flexible, and you have to be sure to chose a translation that makes sense in a particular context.

Comments

Yes, but why are you adding the word "on," as in "from now on"? Doesn't απ/απο mean off/away from, literally? And then, in immediate context, doesn't a future tense verb, οψεσθε, immediately follow? So, on the time line, we start with αρτι and proceed forward "from" that present point of time, (excluding the present point of time), into the future, but with no indication when exactly it will happen in the future. This is consistent with what we have learned elsewhere in scripture, that no one knows the day or hour of the visible return of Jesus.
