James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire! The tongue is a world of iniquity among our members; it defiles (spilousa | σπιλοῦσα | pres act ptcp nom sg fem) the whole body, sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell.
Jude 1:23 save others by snatching them out of the fire; and have mercy on others with fear, hating even the garment stained (espilōmenon | ἐσπιλωμένον | perf pass ptcp acc sg masc) by the flesh.
