Immediately the father of the boy (paidiou | παιδίου | gen sg neut) cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

And when she arrived at her house, she found the child (paidion | παιδίον | acc sg neut) lying on the bed, the demon having departed.

But she answered him, saying, “Lord, even the dogs under the table feed from the children’s (paidiōn | παιδίων | gen pl neut) crumbs.”

And taking hold of the child’s (paidiou | παιδίου | gen sg neut) hand, child’s (paidiou | παιδίου | gen sg neut) he said to her, “Talitha koum!” which means, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.”

And they began to ridicule him. But when he had put them all out, he took the father of the child (paidiou | παιδίου | gen sg neut) and her mother and those who were with him and went in where the child (paidion | παιδίον | nom sg neut) was.

Upon entering he said to them, “Why are you making such a commotion and weeping? The child (paidion | παιδίον | nom sg neut) has not died, but is sleeping.”

But Jesus said, “Let the children (paidia | παιδία | acc pl neut) come to me and do not try to prevent them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Then children (paidia | παιδία | nom pl neut) were brought to Jesus so that he might lay his hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked those who brought them.

And whoever welcomes a child (paidion | παιδίον | acc sg neut) like this in my name welcomes me.

For whoever humbles himself as this child (paidion | παιδίον | nom sg neut) is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
