And the maid servant (paidiskē | παιδίσκη | nom sg fem), seeing him, began again to say to those who were standing around, “This man is one of them.”

And while Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the maid (paidiskōn | παιδισκῶν | gen pl fem) servants of the high priest came by,

Now Peter was sitting outside in the courtyard; and a servant (paidiskē | παιδίσκη | nom sg fem) girl (paidiskē | παιδίσκη | nom sg fem) came up to him and said, “You too were with Jesus of Galilee.”

My children (paidia | παιδία | voc pl neut), it is the last hour! And just as you heard that the Antichrist would come, even now many antichrists have appeared. Therefore we know that it is the last hour.

I have written to you, my children (paidia | παιδία | voc pl neut), because you know the Father. I have written to you, fathers, because you know him who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that he was an extraordinary child (paidion | παιδίον | acc sg neut), and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

Therefore since the children (paidia | παιδία | nom pl neut) share in blood and flesh, he himself also, in the same way, shared the same things so that by his death he might destroy the one who holds the power of death (that is, the devil),

And again, “I will put my trust in him.” And again, “Here I am and the children (paidia | παιδία | nom pl neut) whom God has given me.”

Brothers, do not be children (paidia | παιδία | nom pl neut) in your thinking. Rather, in evil be infants but in your thinking be adults.

So Jesus called to them, “Boys (paidia | παιδία | voc pl neut), you have not caught any fish, have you?” They called back to “No.”
