For he has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of David his servant (paidos | παιδός | gen sg masc),

He has helped his servant (paidos | παιδός | gen sg masc) Israel, remembering his mercy,

But when the ruling priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the boys (paidas | παῖδας | acc pl masc) who were crying out in the temple, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” they were indignant,

Then Jesus rebuked the demon and it came out of him; and the boy (pais | παῖς | nom sg masc) was healed at once.

And he said to his servants (paisin | παισίν | dat pl masc), “This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead; and that is why miraculous powers are at work in him.”

“Here is my servant (pais | παῖς | nom sg masc) whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it will be done for you just as you believed.” And his servant (pais | παῖς | nom sg masc) was healed at that very hour.

But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy for you to come under my roof, but just say the word and my servant (pais | παῖς | nom sg masc) will be healed.

saying, “Lord, my servant (pais | παῖς | nom sg masc) is lying at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.”

Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious; and he sent and killed all the male (paidas | παῖδας | acc pl masc) children in and around Bethlehem who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had determined from the wise men.
