making known that you are a letter of Christ, delivered by us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st), written not in ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
But thanks be to God, who is always leading us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) in triumph in Christ, and through us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) is making known the fragrance of the knowledge of him in every place.
For all the promises of God find their “Yes” in him; and that is why it is through him that we (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) say our “Amen” to God for his glory.
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the one who was proclaimed among you by us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) — by me, Silvanus, and Timothy — was not “Yes” and “No,” but in him it has always been “Yes.”
just as also you have understood us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) partially, that we are your source of pride, as you also are ours (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st), in the day of the Lord Jesus.
For our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) confidence is this, the testimony of our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) conscience, that with simplicity and sincerity like that of God, and not with earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, we conducted ourselves in the world, and all the more toward you.
