For we are not again recommending ourselves to you but giving you an occasion to boast on our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) behalf, so that you may be able to answer those who boast of what is seen and not of what is in the heart.
For we (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be repaid according to what he has done while in the body, whether good or bad.
For we know that if our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) earthly house, the tent we live in, is taken down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.
as we (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) look not on what can be seen, but on the unseen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.
For our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) momentary lightness of affliction is producing for (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,
So we are not discouraged, but even if our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) outward man is wasting away, our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) inward man is being renewed day by day.
