But since we have the same spirit of faith as that which stands written, “I believed; therefore I spoke,” we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) too believe, and thus we speak,

Thus death is at work in us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st), but life in you.

For we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) who live are constantly being handed over to death for the sake of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) mortal flesh.

always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be displayed in our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) bodies.

But we have this treasure in clay pots, so that the surpassing power belongs to God and does not come from us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st).

For it is the God who said, “Out of darkness light will shine,” who has flooded our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) hearts with the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.

But even if our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing,

And we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) all, with unveiled faces, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, just as from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

who indeed made us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st) adequate as servants of a new covenant, based not on the letter but on the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit imparts life.

Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from us, but our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) adequacy comes from God,
