in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) will be changed.

Every day I am in danger of dying! I swear by my boasting in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Lord.

And why are we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) putting ourselves in danger every hour?

And if Christ has not been raised, then our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) proclamation is groundless, and your faith is to no purpose.

For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) sins according to the Scriptures,

whereas our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) presentable members have no such need. Instead, God has so arranged the body, giving greater honor to the member that lacked it,

and those members of the body we consider less honorable we clothe with greater honor, and our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) unpresentable members are treated with greater modesty,

For in one Spirit we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, and we were all imbued with one Spirit.

If anyone is inclined to be quarrelsome, we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) have no such practice, nor do the churches of God.

Now these events happened to them as examples, but were written down as warnings for us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st), on whom the end of the ages has come.
