And some of you were guilty of these abominations! But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) God.
Get rid of the old leaven so that you may be a new batch of dough, just as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
When you are assembled in the name of our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Lord Jesus and I am with you in spirit, with the power of our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) Lord Jesus,
We (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) are fools for Christ, but you are men of wisdom in Christ! We (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) are dishonored!
For it seems to me that God has displayed us (hēmas | ἡμᾶς | acc pl 1st), the apostles, last, as men sentenced to death, because we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men.
Already you have all you want! Already you are rich! Without us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) you have begun to reign! And would that you did reign, so that we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) could reign with you!
I have applied all this to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another.
It was not the spirit of the world that we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) received, but the Spirit sent from God, that we might understand the gifts freely given to (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) by God.
