The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar (pseustēn | ψεύστην | acc sg masc), because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.

If someone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar (pseustēs | ψεύστης | nom sg masc); for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.

Who is the liar (pseustēs | ψεύστης | nom sg masc) but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This one is the Antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.

The one who says, “I know God,” yet does not keep his commandments, is a liar (pseustēs | ψεύστης | nom sg masc) and the truth is not in him.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar (pseustēn | ψεύστην | acc sg masc) and his word is not in us.

One of them, their own prophet, said, “Cretans are always liars (pseustai | ψεῦσται | nom pl masc), evil beasts, lazy gluttons.”

fornicators, men who practice homosexuality, kidnappers, liars (pseustais | ψεύσταις | dat pl masc), perjurers, and everything else that is contrary to healthy teaching,

By no means! Let God be true and every man a liar (pseustēs | ψεύστης | nom sg masc). As it is written, “so that you may be justified in your words and prevail when you are judged.”

And you have not known him, but I know him. If I were to say that I did not know him, I would be like you, a liar (pseustēs | ψεύστης | nom sg masc); but I do know him, and I keep his word.
