just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem) a ransom for many.”

For what advantage will there be for a person if he gains the whole world yet forfeits his life (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem)? Or what will a person give in exchange for his life (psychēs | ψυχῆς | gen sg fem)?

For whoever resolves to save his life (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem) will lose it; but whoever loses his life (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem) for my sake will find it.

“Here is my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved with whom my soul (psychē | ψυχή | nom sg fem) is well pleased. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls (psychais | ψυχαῖς | dat pl fem).

Whoever finds his life (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem) will lose it, but whoever loses his life (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem) for my sake will find it.

Do not be afraid of those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem). Rather, fear the one who can destroy both soul (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem) and body in hell.

“Therefore I say to you, ‘Do not be anxious about your life (psychē | ψυχῇ | dat sg fem), what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will put on. Is not life (psychē | ψυχή | nom sg fem) more than food and the body more than clothing?

saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who were seeking the child’s life (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem) are dead.”

But she answered him, saying, “Lord, even the dogs under the table feed from the children’s crumbs.” (psichiōn | ψιχίων | gen pl neut)
