But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) into all truth, for he will not speak on his own, but will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) things yet to come.
Nevertheless I am telling you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the truth; it is to your (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Paraclete will not come to you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd); but if I go away, I will send him to you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd).
But I have said these things to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) so that when their hour comes you will remember that I told you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) about them. “I did not tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) these things at the start because I was with you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd).
They will put you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) out of the synagogues; indeed, the hour is coming when anyone who kills you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) will think he is offering a service to God.
“But when the Paraclete comes, whom I will send to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) from the Father, the Spirit of truth who comes forth from the Father, he will bear witness about me.
