“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) midst, as you yourselves know —
‘And it will be in the last days,’ declares God, ‘that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) sons and your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) daughters will prophesy, and your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) young men will see visions, and your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) old men will dream dreams.
But Peter, taking his stand with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them, “Men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, let this be known to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), and give ear to my words.
and said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into the sky? This Jesus, who was taken up from you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him going into heaven.”
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd), and you will be my witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
Eight days later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.” (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd)
So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd). As the Father has sent me, I also am sending you.” (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd)
