saying, “Men, why are you doing these things? For we too are men subject to the same frailties as you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), bringing you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) good news to turn away from these vain things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and everything in them,

Both Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly and said, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd). Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are now turning to the Gentiles.

‘Look, you scoffers; be amazed and perish! For I am doing a work in your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) days, a work you will not believe, even though someone should tell you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) in detail.’”

But regarding the fact that he has raised Jesus from the dead, no more about to return to corruption, thus he said: ‘I will give to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the sacred and sure promises made to David.’

And we are telling you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) the good news regarding the promise that was made to the fathers,

“My brothers, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) who fear God, it is to us that the message of this salvation has been sent.

After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent a message to them, saying, “My brothers, if there is any among you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) with a word of encouragement for the people, say it.”

And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’

you yourselves (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) know the account that spread throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee after the baptism that John proclaimed,
