‘For in him we live and move about and exist,’ as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we too are his offspring.’

For as I went around and observed your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) objects of worship, I found also an altar on which was inscribed, ‘To an unknown god.’ So what you worship without knowing, this I proclaim to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd).

So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) are a very devout people.

explaining and demonstrating that it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and to rise from the dead, and that, “This one is the Messiah, this Jesus whom I am proclaiming to you.” (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd)

She followed after Paul and us, crying out, saying, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) the way of salvation.”

For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to impose on (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) no further burden than these essential requirements:
