For those who live according to the flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) have set their minds on the things of the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), but those who live according to the Spirit have set their minds on the things of the Spirit.

so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) but according to the Spirit.

For what the law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), God, by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) and as a sin offering, condemned sin in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem),

Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem) I serve the law of sin.

For that person is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem).
