For those who live according to the flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) have set their minds on the things of the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), but those who live according to the Spirit have set their minds on the things of the Spirit.
so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) but according to the Spirit.
For what the law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), God, by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) and as a sin offering, condemned sin in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem),
Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem) I serve the law of sin.
For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem); for I have the desire to do what is right, but I am unable to do it.
For while we were living in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem), our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our bodies to bear fruit for death.
(I am speaking in human terms because of your natural (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) limitations.) For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, leading to sanctification.
