Therefore when I was planning this, I was not capricious, was I? Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem), so that with me it would be “Yes, yes” and “No, no” at the same time?

Now this I declare, brothers, that flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

Not all flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) is the same; people have one kind, animals another, birds another, fish another.

Consider Israel according to the flesh: (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) are not those who eat the sacrifices sharers in the altar?

But if you do marry, you have not sinned, and if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. However those who do marry will have worldly (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem) trouble, and I am trying to spare you.

Or do you not know that he who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For it says, “The two will become one flesh.” (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem)

hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), so that the spirit may be saved on the Day of the Lord.

so that no one can boast in the presence of God.

Consider your calling, brothers: according to worldly (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) standards (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem), not many of you were wise, not many were influential, not many were of noble birth.

Rather, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the sinful (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) nature to gratify its desires.
