“For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem)
For he is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down the dividing wall, having abolished in his flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem) the hostility,
So remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem), called the uncircumcision by those called the circumcision — made in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem) by hands —
Among them we also once lived in the passions of our flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), gratifying the desires and impulses of the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), and were by nature children of wrath, just like everyone else.
For even those who are circumcised do not themselves keep the law, but they want you to be circumcised so that they may boast in your flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem).
Those who want to make a good showing in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem), they are the ones trying to force you to be circumcised — only so that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
For the one who sows to his own flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem), from the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) will reap corruption; but the one who sows to the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
