For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkled ashes of a heifer, sanctify those who have been ceremonially defiled so that their flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) is purified,
but deal only with food and drink and various ceremonial washings, regulations for the body (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) imposed until the time of correction.
In the days of his flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud crying and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his godly fear.
Therefore since the children share in blood and flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), he himself also, in the same way, shared the same things so that by his death he might destroy the one who holds the power of death (that is, the devil),
no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, as a dear brother. He is especially so to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem) and in the Lord.
And undeniably great is the mystery of godliness, who was revealed in flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem), was vindicated in spirit, appeared to angels; was preached among the nations, was believed in the world, was taken up in glory.
Slaves, obey your earthly masters in every regard, not with a view to impressing others, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.
Such regulations indeed have the appearance of wisdom with their self-imposed religious piety, false humility, and harsh control over the body, but they actually lead to the gratification of the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem).
Let no one rob you of your prize, insisting on self-abasement and the worship of angels, taking his stand on visions, puffed up with empty notions by his earthly (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) way of thinking.
And although you were dead although were in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem), your God made you alive you with Christ. He forgave us all our transgressions,
