For the desires of the flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem); for these are opposed to one another, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
For you, brothers, were called to freedom. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem), but through love serve one another.
But just as at that time the one who was born according to the flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) persecuted the one who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now.
The son by the slave woman was born according to the flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem), but the son by the free woman was born as the result of promise.
and though my condition (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem) was a trial to you, you did not despise or reject me, but you welcomed me as an angel of God, as though I were Christ Jesus.
and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh (sarki | σαρκί | dat sg fem), I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
