Jesus therefore said to them, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless you eat the flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will have no life in you.

Then the Jews began to argue with one another, “How can this man give us his flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) to eat?”

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) — given on behalf of the world.”

What is born of the flesh (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) is flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem), and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

And the Word became flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) and dwelt among us, and we gazed on his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

who were born, not from human stock or from a physical (sarkos | σαρκός | gen sg fem) impulse or by a husband’s decision, but by God.

Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me and see, for a ghost does not have flesh (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) and bones as you see that I have.”

Then will all flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) see the salvation of God!’”

Stay alert and pray so that you will not come into temptation; the spirit is willing but the flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) is weak.”

And unless the Lord had cut short the number of days, no one would survive; but on account of the elect, whom he chose, he cut short the days.
