and the two shall be one flesh.’ (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem) So no longer are they two, but one flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem).

Stay alert and pray lest you enter a time of trial. The spirit indeed is willing but the flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) is weak.”

And unless those days were shortened, no human (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) being (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) would survive. But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

So then they are no longer two, but one flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem). Therefore what God has joined together, no one must separate.”

And he added, “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ (sarka | σάρκα | acc sg fem)

And Jesus responded, saying to him, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh (sarx | σάρξ | nom sg fem) and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven.

he does so not on the basis of a law expressed in a carnal (sarkinēs | σαρκίνης | gen sg fem) commandment, but on the basis of the power of an indestructible life.

making known that you are a letter of Christ, delivered by us, written not in ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human (sarkinais | σαρκίναις | dat pl fem) hearts.

And so, brothers, I could not speak to you as spiritual people, but rather as people of the flesh (sarkinois | σαρκίνοις | dat pl masc), as infants in Christ.

For we know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual (sarkinos | σάρκινος | nom sg masc), sold as a slave to sin.
