but to go having put on sandals (sandalia | σανδάλια | acc pl neut). Then he added, “Do not put on two tunics.”

All this took about four hundred fifty years. After this he gave them judges until Samuel (Samouēl | Σαμουήλ | gen sg masc) the prophet.

And all the prophets from Samuel (Samouēl | Σαμουήλ | gen sg masc) and those who came after him, also announced these days.

And from there we sailed away on the following day and arrived off the shore of Chios, the next day we touched at Samos (Samon | Σάμον | acc sg fem), and the day after that we went to Miletus.

So, setting sail from Troas, we sailed on a direct course to Samothrace (Samothrakēn | Σαμοθρᾴκην | acc sg fem), and on the following day to Neapolis,

Now after solemnly testifying and speaking the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans (Samaritōn | Σαμαριτῶν | gen pl masc).

The Jews answered him, saying, “Are we not correct in saying that you are a Samaritan (Samaritēs | Σαμαρίτης | nom sg masc) and have a demon?”
