in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound (salpisei | σαλπίσει | fut act ind 3 sg), and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
So whenever you give alms do (salpisēs | σαλπίσῃς | aor act subj 2 sg) not sound (salpisēs | σαλπίσῃς | aor act subj 2 sg) a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward.
saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet (salpinga | σάλπιγγα | acc sg fem), “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”
Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who live on the earth because of the blasts of the other trumpets (salpingos | σάλπιγγος | gen sg fem) that the three angels are about to blow!”
