For this Melchizedek, king of Salem (Salēm | Σαλήμ | gen sg fem), priest of the Most High God, met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him,
The phrase, “Yet once more,” declares the removal of what can be shaken (saleuomenōn | σαλευομένων | pres pass ptcp gen pl neut) — that is, created things — so that what cannot be (saleuomena | σαλευόμενα | pres pass ptcp nom pl neut) shaken (saleuomena | σαλευόμενα | pres pass ptcp nom pl neut) may remain.
At that time his voice shook (esaleusen | ἐσάλευσεν | aor act ind 3 sg) the earth, but now he has promised, “Yet once more will I shake not only the earth but also the heaven.”
