Then the high priest stood up and all who were with him (that is, the party of the Sadducees) (Saddoukaiōn | Σαδδουκαίων | gen pl masc), and filled with indignation,

And as they were speaking to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees (Saddoukaioi | Σαδδουκαῖοι | nom pl masc) moved in on them,

Now some Sadducees (Saddoukaiōn | Σαδδουκαίων | gen pl masc) (who deny there is a resurrection) came up and questioned him,

And the Sadducees (Saddoukaioi | Σαδδουκαῖοι | nom pl masc), who say there is no resurrection, came to him, and they were questioning him, saying,

Now when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees (Saddoukaious | Σαδδουκαίους | acc pl masc), they met together

same That same day the Sadducees (Saddoukaioi | Σαδδουκαῖοι | nom pl masc) who say there is no resurrection came to him and posed a question.

Then they understood that he had not told them to beware of the leaven of bread but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees (Saddoukaiōn | Σαδδουκαίων | gen pl masc).

How is it that you do not understand that I was not speaking about bread? Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” (Saddoukaiōn | Σαδδουκαίων | gen pl masc)

Jesus said to them, “Watch out, and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” (Saddoukaiōn | Σαδδουκαίων | gen pl masc)

Now when the Pharisees and Sadducees (Saddoukaioi | Σαδδουκαῖοι | nom pl masc) came to test Jesus, they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.
