|After they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph, saying, “Rise, take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him.”
|I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single iota or one little stroke will pass from the law until everything takes place.
|Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches others, this person will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
|“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder,’ and, ‘whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’
|But I say to you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; and whoever says to his brother, ‘Raka,’ will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.
|I tell you the truth, you will certainly not get out of there until you have paid the last penny.
|“And it was said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a written notice of divorce.’
|And whatever town or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy and stay there until you leave.
|And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your message, as you leave that house or that town shake off the dust from your feet.
|When they persecute you in one town, flee to another; for I tell you the truth, you will not finish going through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
|but whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father who is in heaven.
|And whoever, because he is a disciple, gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, I tell you the truth, he will by no means lose his reward.”
|“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, had been done the mighty works done in you they would (an | ἄν | particle) have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
|And as for you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, had been done the mighty works done in you it would (an | ἄν | particle) have remained to this day.
|And if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would (an | ἄν | particle) not have condemned the guiltless.
|A shattered reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, until he brings justice to victory.
|And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, neither in this age nor in the age to come.
|For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother.”
|But you say, ‘Whoever says to his father or his mother, “Whatever benefit you might have received from me is a gift to God,”
|For whoever resolves to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
|I tell you the truth, there are some of those standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.
|But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and be drowned far out at sea.
|But I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery.”
|and whoever would be first among you must be your servant;
|And whatever you ask in prayer, if you believe, you will receive.”
|‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet”’?
|“Woe to you, blind guides who say, ‘If someone swears by the temple it means nothing; but if someone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’
|And you say, ‘If someone swears by the altar it means nothing; but if someone swears by the gift that is on it, he is bound by his oath.’
|and you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would (an | ἄν | particle) not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’
|For I say to you, you will see me no more until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
|And unless those days were shortened, no human being would (an | ἄν | particle) survive. But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
|I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
|But understand this: if the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would (an | ἄν | particle) have been on the alert and would (an | ἄν | particle) not have allowed his house to be broken into.
|Then you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my return I would (an | ἄν | particle) have recovered what was mine plus interest!
|The betrayer had given them a sign, saying, “The one I will kiss, he is the one; seize him.”
|but whoever but (an | ἄν | particle) blasphemes against the Holy Spirit Holy will never have forgiveness but is guilty of an eternal sin”
|For whoever For (an | ἄν | particle) does the will of God, this one is my brother my and my sister and my mother.” is
|And he said to them, “Whenever you enter a house, stay there until (an | ἄν | particle) you leave that area.
|And any (an | ἄν | particle) place that does not receive you or listen to you, when you leave there, shake off the dust from under your feet your as a witness against them.”
|And wherever he entered villages, towns, or rural areas, they would place the sick in the marketplaces and implore him that they might touch just the fringe of his cloak. And as many as touched him were made well.
|For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake and that of the gospel will save it.
|And he said to them, “I tell you the truth, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God having come with power.”
|“Whoever receives one of these children in my name, receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but the one who sent me.”
|For I tell you the truth, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you bear the name of Christ will most certainly not lose his reward.
|“And whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a large millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.
|And he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her.
|I tell you the truth, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a child will never enter it.”
|But it is not to be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,
|and whoever would be first among you must be servant of all.
