And they brought (ēnenkan | ἤνεγκαν | aor act ind 3 pl) the boy to him. And when the spirit saw him, immediately it convulsed him; and falling on the ground, the boy began to roll about, foaming at the mouth.
Answering them he said, “O unbelieving generation! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with you? Bring (pherete | φέρετε | pres act imperative 2 pl) him to me.”
So without delay the king dispatched the executioner and ordered him to bring (enenkai | ἐνέγκαι | aor act inf ) John’s head. He went and beheaded John in prison,
But other seed fell into good soil good and produced grain, sprouting, growing, and bearing (epheren | ἔφερεν | imperf act ind 3 sg) thirty, sixty, and even a hundredfold.”
At evening when the sun had gone down, the sun people were bringing (epheron | ἔφερον | imperf act ind 3 pl) to him all who were sick were as well as the demon-possessed.
