For everyone who practices wickedness (phaula | φαῦλα | acc pl neut) hates the light and does not come to the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger (phatnēs | φάτνης | gen sg fem) to lead it away and to water it?

So they came in haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger (phatnē | φάτνῃ | dat sg fem).

And this is the sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” (phatnē | φάτνῃ | dat sg fem)

and she gave birth to a son, her firstborn. She wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger (phatnē | φάτνῃ | dat sg fem), because there was no place for them in the inn.

Professing (phaskontes | φάσκοντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) to be wise, they became fools,

but had certain questions about their own religion to put to him and about a certain Jesus, who was dead, whom Paul claimed (ephasken | ἔφασκεν | imperf act ind 3 sg) to be alive.

And the Jews also joined the attack, saying (phaskontes | φάσκοντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) that it was so.

And while they were trying to kill him, a report (phasis | φάσις | nom sg fem) was sent up to the commanding officer of the detachment that all Jerusalem was in an uproar.

Outside are the dogs, those who practice the occult (pharmakoi | φάρμακοι | nom pl masc), the sexually immoral, murderers, idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
