Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take (pherete | φέρετε | pres act imperative 2 pl) it to the master of the feast.” So they took (ēnenkan | ἤνεγκαν | aor act ind 3 pl) him some,

But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, the women came to the tomb, bringing (pherousai | φέρουσαι | pres act ptcp nom pl fem) the anointing spices they had prepared.

As they led him away, they took hold of a certain Simon of Cyrene, who was coming in from the countryside, and put the cross on him to carry (pherein | φέρειν | pres act inf ) it behind Jesus.

Bring (pherete | φέρετε | pres act imperative 2 pl) the fattened calf and make the kill! Let us eat and celebrate;

that there were men carrying (pherontes | φέροντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed. They were trying to bring him in and place him before Jesus.

And they brought (pherousin | φέρουσιν | pres act ind 3 pl) him to the place Golgotha, (which means, Place of the Skull).

So they brought (ēnenkan | ἤνεγκαν | aor act ind 3 pl) one. And he said to them, “Of whom is this likeness and inscription?” And they said to him, “Caesar.”

But knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them, “Why do you test me? Bring (pherete | φέρετε | pres act imperative 2 pl) me a denarius and let me look at it.”

Then they brought (pherousin | φέρουσιν | pres act ind 3 pl) the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it.

and said to them, “Go into the village directly ahead of you, and immediately upon entering it you will find a tethered colt on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring (pherete | φέρετε | pres act imperative 2 pl) it.
