The scribes and the Pharisees (Pharisaioi | Φαρισαῖοι | nom pl masc) brought a woman who had been caught in adultery, and making her stand before them,
Then the temple guards went back to the chief priests and Pharisees (Pharisaious | Φαρισαίους | acc pl masc), who said to them, “Why did you not bring him?”
The Pharisees (Pharisaioi | Φαρισαῖοι | nom pl masc) heard the crowd secretly discussing these things about Jesus, so the chief priests and Pharisees (Pharisaioi | Φαρισαῖοι | nom pl masc) sent temple guards to arrest him.
Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees (Pharisaioi | Φαρισαῖοι | nom pl masc) had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John
