Then Jesus said to them, “Do (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl) not be afraid (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl). Go, tell my brothers to depart for Galilee, and they will see me there.”

But the angel said to the women, “Do (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl) not be afraid (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl), for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

When the centurion and those with him, who were keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what was happening, they were terrified (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl), and said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”

and being afraid (phobētheis | φοβηθείς | aor pass ptcp nom sg masc), I went off and hid your talent in the ground. Look, you have what is yours.’

And although they wanted to arrest him, they were afraid (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl) of the crowds because they held him to be a prophet.

But if we say, ‘From man,’ we are afraid (phoboumetha | φοβούμεθα | pres pass ind 1 pl) of the crowd, for they hold that John was a prophet.”

But Jesus came over and touched them, saying, “Rise, and do (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl) not be afraid.” (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl)

And when the disciples heard this, they (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl) were (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl) overcome with (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl) fear (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl) and fell face down on the ground.

But when he realized that the wind was blustery, he became afraid (ephobēthē | ἐφοβήθη | aor pass ind 3 sg); and starting to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”

But right away Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I! Do (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl) not be afraid.” (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl)
