Then people went out to see what happened, and they came to Jesus and found the man from whom the demons had come out, sitting at the feet of Jesus, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl).
He said to them, “Where is your faith?” They were afraid (phobēthentes | φοβηθέντες | aor pass ptcp nom pl masc) and amazed, saying to one another, “Who, then, is this that he commands even the winds and the water and they obey him?”
and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. But Jesus said to Simon, “Do (phobou | φοβοῦ | pres pass imperative 2 sg) not be afraid (phobou | φοβοῦ | pres pass imperative 2 sg); from now on you will be catching men.”
But the angel said to them, “Do (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl) not be afraid (phobeisthe | φοβεῖσθε | pres pass imperative 2 pl); for behold, I announce to you good news of a great joy which will be for all the people,
An angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terribly afraid (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl).
and his mercy extends to those who (phoboumenois | φοβουμένοις | pres pass ptcp dat pl masc) fear (phoboumenois | φοβουμένοις | pres pass ptcp dat pl masc) him, from generation to generation.
And the angel said to her, “Do (phobou | φοβοῦ | pres pass imperative 2 sg) not be afraid (phobou | φοβοῦ | pres pass imperative 2 sg), Mary, for you have found favor with God.
But the angel said to him: “Do (phobou | φοβοῦ | pres pass imperative 2 sg) not fear (phobou | φοβοῦ | pres pass imperative 2 sg), Zechariah, because your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will call his name John.
And going outside, they fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had taken hold of them. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid (ephobounto | ἐφοβοῦντο | imperf mid ind 3 pl).
And they were seeking to arrest him, but feared (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl) the people, for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them. So they left him and went away.
