He didn’t want to for a time. But later on he said to himself, ‘Though I (phoboumai | φοβοῦμαι | pres pass ind 1 sg) neither fear (phoboumai | φοβοῦμαι | pres pass ind 1 sg) God nor have regard for people,

“I tell you, my friends, do (phobēthēte | φοβηθῆτε | aor pass subj 2 pl) not fear (phobēthēte | φοβηθῆτε | aor pass subj 2 pl) those who can kill the body, and after that have nothing more that they can do.
But they did not understand this saying. It was concealed from them, so that they might not understand it; and they were afraid (ephobounto | ἐφοβοῦντο | imperf pass ind 3 pl) to ask him about this saying.
While he was saying these things, a cloud came and enveloped them; and they were afraid (ephobēthēsan | ἐφοβήθησαν | aor pass ind 3 pl) as they entered the cloud.
When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “Do (phobou | φοβοῦ | pres pass imperative 2 sg) not be afraid (phobou | φοβοῦ | pres pass imperative 2 sg), only believe, and she will get better.”
