Your attitude (phroneite | φρονεῖτε | pres act imperative 2 pl) toward one another should be the same as that of Christ Jesus,

make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, united in spirit, with a single purpose (phronountes | φρονοῦντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc).

It is right for me to (phronein | φρονεῖν | pres act inf ) feel (phronein | φρονεῖν | pres act inf ) this way about all of you, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all share with me in the grace of God.

I am confident about you in the Lord that you (phronēsete | φρονήσετε | fut act ind 2 pl) will (phronēsete | φρονήσετε | fut act ind 2 pl) not think (phronēsete | φρονήσετε | fut act ind 2 pl) otherwise. But the one who is trying to confuse you will pay the penalty, whoever he may be.

Finally, brothers, rejoice, strive for maturity, take courage, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought (ephronoun | ἐφρόνουν | imperf act ind 1 sg) like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways.

May the God of endurance and encouragement enable you to live in harmony with one another, according to Christ Jesus,

The one who observes (phronōn | φρονῶν | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) the day observes (phronei | φρονεῖ | pres act ind 3 sg) it for the Lord. And the one who eats, eats for the Lord, because he gives thanks to God; and the one who abstains from eating, abstains for the Lord and gives thanks to God.

Live (phronountes | φρονοῦντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) in harmony with one another; do (phronountes | φρονοῦντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) not be (phronountes | φρονοῦντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) haughty but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation.
