Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise (phronimoi | φρόνιμοι | nom pl masc) in your own estimation.
I do not want you to be uninformed, my brothers, of this mystery — so that you may not be wise (phronimoi | φρόνιμοι | nom pl masc) in your own conceits — that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
The master commended the dishonest manager because he acted shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd (phronimōteroi | φρονιμώτεροι | nom pl masc comparative) in dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.
And the Lord said, “Who, then, is the faithful and wise (phronimos | φρόνιμος | nom sg masc) steward, whom the master will put in charge of his servants, to give the food ration at the proper time?
But the wise (phronimoi | φρόνιμοι | nom pl fem) answered, saying, ‘Perhaps there will not be enough for both us and you, so go rather to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’
“Who then is the faithful and wise (phronimos | φρόνιμος | nom sg masc) servant whom his master has put in charge of his household to give other servants their food at the proper time?
