Every person (psychē | ψυχή | nom sg fem) must be subject to the governing authorities because there is no authority except by God’s appointment, and those that presently exist have been instituted by God.
“Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have torn down your altars, and I alone am left, and they are seeking my life.” (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem)
And now I advise you to be of good courage; for there will be no loss of (psychēs | ψυχῆς | gen sg fem) life (psychēs | ψυχῆς | gen sg fem) among you, but only of the ship.
saying, “Gentlemen, I perceive that the voyage that is about to take place will involve injury and much loss, not only of the cargo and the ship, but also of our lives.” (psychōn | ψυχῶν | gen pl fem)
But I make my life (psychēn | ψυχήν | acc sg fem) of no account as of any value to me, that I may finish my task and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the good news of the grace of God.
But Paul went down and threw himself on him, and putting his arms around him, said, “Do not be alarmed, for his life (psychē | ψυχή | nom sg fem) is in him.”
