I have given you authority to tread on serpents (opheōn | ὄφεων | gen pl masc) and scorpions, and authority over all the power of the enemy; nothing may hurt you at all.

with their hands they will pick up snakes (opheis | ὄφεις | acc pl masc); and if they drink any deadly poison it will in no way harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

You snakes! (opheis | ὄφεις | voc pl masc) You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?

“Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents (opheis | ὄφεις | nom pl masc) and innocent as doves.

Or if he should ask for a fish, would give him a snake (ophin | ὄφιν | acc sg masc)?

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes (ophthalmōn | ὀφθαλμῶν | gen pl masc). Death will be no more, mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the former things have passed away.”

His eyes (ophthalmoi | ὀφθαλμοί | nom pl masc) are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows except himself.

for the Lamb at the center of the throne will shepherd them and guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” (ophthalmōn | ὀφθαλμῶν | gen pl masc)

And I saw standing there, between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders, a Lamb that appeared to have been killed, having seven horns and seven eyes (ophthalmous | ὀφθαλμούς | acc pl masc), which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
