Then he left the crowds (ochlous | ὄχλους | acc pl masc) and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
And great crowds (ochloi | ὄχλοι | nom pl masc) gathered around him so that he got into a boat and sat down, and all the crowd (ochlos | ὄχλος | nom sg masc) stood on the beach.
As they went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds (ochlois | ὄχλοις | dat pl masc) about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to look at? A reed shaken by the wind?
And when he saw the crowds (ochlous | ὄχλους | acc pl masc), he had compassion on them, because they were distressed and dejected, like sheep without a shepherd.
And when the demon had been driven out, the man who had been mute began to speak. The crowds (ochloi | ὄχλοι | nom pl masc) were amazed and said, “Never has anything like this been seen in Israel.”
