Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, “I have compassion on the crowd (ochlon | ὄχλον | acc sg masc) because they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, lest they faint from exhaustion on the way.”

So the crowd (ochlon | ὄχλον | acc sg masc) was astonished when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, the lame walking, and the blind seeing, and they praised the God of Israel.

And great crowds (ochloi | ὄχλοι | nom pl masc) came to him, bringing with them those who were lame, blind, crippled, mute, and many others; and they put them down at his feet and he healed them.

And he called the crowd (ochlon | ὄχλον | acc sg masc) to him and said to them, “Hear and understand:

And after sending the crowds (ochlous | ὄχλους | acc pl masc) away, he went up on the mountainside by himself to pray; and when evening came, he was there alone.

Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the opposite shore, until he had dismissed the crowds (ochlous | ὄχλους | acc pl masc).

Then he ordered the crowds (ochlous | ὄχλους | acc pl masc) to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, said a blessing, and broke the loaves. He gave the loaves to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds (ochlois | ὄχλοις | dat pl masc).

When evening came, the disciples approached him, saying, “This is a deserted place and the hour is now late; send the crowds (ochlous | ὄχλους | acc pl masc) away so they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

And when he came ashore, he saw a great crowd (ochlon | ὄχλον | acc sg masc); and he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

Now when Jesus heard about John, he left there by boat to a deserted place to be alone; but when the crowds (ochloi | ὄχλοι | nom pl masc) heard about it, they followed him on foot from the towns.
