For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions (pathē | πάθη | acc pl neut). Their women exchanged the natural sexual function for one that is unnatural,

that the Christ was to suffer (pathētos | παθητός | nom sg masc) and, as the first to rise from the dead, he would proclaim light both to our people and to the Gentiles.”

Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings (pathēmatōn | παθημάτων | gen pl neut) are being endured by your fellow believers throughout the world.

Therefore I, a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings (pathēmatōn | παθημάτων | gen pl neut) of Christ, and a partaker of the glory that is about to be revealed, exhort the elders among you:

But rejoice insofar as you now share the sufferings (pathēmasin | παθήμασιν | dat pl neut) of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed, you may also rejoice and be glad.

trying to discover what time or manner of time the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings (pathēmata | παθήματα | acc pl neut) of Christ and the glories that would follow.

Instead, remember those former days in which, after you had received the light, you weathered such a difficult struggle with suffering (pathēmatōn | παθημάτων | gen pl neut).

For it was appropriate that God, for whom and through whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the champion of their salvation perfect through suffering (pathēmatōn | παθημάτων | gen pl neut).

But we do see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone, because of the suffering (pathēma | πάθημα | acc sg neut) of death crowned with glory and honor.

my persecutions, my sufferings (pathēmasin | παθήμασιν | dat pl neut), which happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra, which persecutions I endured, and out of all these the Lord rescued me.
