And they brought to him a deaf man who could hardly speak, and they begged (parakalousin | παρακαλοῦσιν | pres act ind 3 pl) him to lay his hand on him.
And wherever he entered villages, towns, or rural areas, they would place the sick in the marketplaces and implore (parekaloun | παρεκάλουν | imperf act ind 3 pl) him that they might touch just the fringe of his cloak. And as many as touched him were made well.
