Once again he went away and prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cannot pass (parelthein | παρελθεῖν | aor act inf ) unless I drink it, may your will be done.”
And going a short distance beyond them, he threw face himself face, to the ground, praying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass (parelthatō | παρελθάτω | aor act imperative 3 sg) from me! Yet not as I will but as you will.”
Heaven and earth will pass (pareleusetai | παρελεύσεται | fut mid ind 3 sg) away, but my words will (parelthōsin | παρέλθωσιν | aor act subj 3 pl) never pass (parelthōsin | παρέλθωσιν | aor act subj 3 pl) away.
I tell you the truth, this generation will (parelthē | παρέλθῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) not pass (parelthē | παρέλθῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) away until all these things take place.
When evening came, the disciples approached him, saying, “This is a deserted place and the hour is (parēlthen | παρῆλθεν | aor act ind 3 sg) now late (parēlthen | παρῆλθεν | aor act ind 3 sg); send the crowds away so they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”
And when he came to the other side, to the region of the Gadarenes, there met him two demoniacs coming out from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass (parelthein | παρελθεῖν | aor act inf ) by that way.
I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth pass (parelthē | παρέλθῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) away (parelthē | παρέλθῃ | aor act subj 3 sg), not a single iota or one little stroke will pass (parelthē | παρέλθῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) from the law until everything takes place.
Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and exiles (parepidēmous | παρεπιδήμους | acc pl masc) to abstain from desires of the flesh, which wage war against your soul,
Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those who live as refugees (parepidēmois | παρεπιδήμοις | dat pl masc) of the dispersion in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
These all died in faith, without receiving the fulfillment of the promises, but they saw them from a distance and greeted them. They acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles (parepidēmoi | παρεπίδημοι | nom pl masc) in the land.
