Be patient, therefore, dear friends, until the coming (parousias | παρουσίας | gen sg fem) of the Lord. Note how the farmer waits for the precious harvest of the earth, being patient for it until it receives the early and latter rains.
The coming (parousia | παρουσία | nom sg fem) of the lawless one will be according to the activity of Satan, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders,
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will destroy with the breath of his mouth, and bring to an end with the splendor of his coming (parousias | παρουσίας | gen sg fem).
Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your spirit, soul, and body be preserved completely whole and blameless at the coming (parousia | παρουσίᾳ | dat sg fem) of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain behind until the coming (parousian | παρουσίαν | acc sg fem) of the Lord, will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep,
so as to establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming (parousia | παρουσίᾳ | dat sg fem) of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.
So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence (parousia | παρουσίᾳ | dat sg fem) but even more now in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,
