And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness (parrēsias | παρρησίας | gen sg fem).
Seeing the boldness (parrēsian | παρρησίαν | acc sg fem) of Peter and John, and coming to find that they were uneducated and common men, they were astonished and recognized that as those who had been with Jesus.
Jesus answered him, “I have spoken openly (parrēsia | παρρησίᾳ | dat sg fem) to the world. I have always taught in the synagogue and in the temple, where all Jews come together. I have said nothing in secret.
“I have told you these things using veiled language. The hour is coming when I will no longer speak to you in veiled language but will tell you plainly (parrēsia | παρρησίᾳ | dat sg fem) about the Father.
Jesus therefore no longer walked about openly (parrēsia | παρρησίᾳ | dat sg fem) among the Jews, but went from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and he stayed there with his disciples.
The Jews surrounded him and asked, “How much longer will you provoke us to anger? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” (parrēsia | παρρησίᾳ | dat sg fem)
