Both Paul and Barnabas spoke boldly (parrēsiasamenoi | παρρησιασάμενοι | aor mid ptcp nom pl masc) and said, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken first to you. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are now turning to the Gentiles.

And he was with them, going in and out at Jerusalem, speaking (parrēsiazomenos | παρρησιαζόμενος | pres mid ptcp nom sg masc) out boldly in the name of the Lord.

But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles and he related to them how on the road he had seen the Lord, and that the Lord had spoken to him, and how in Damascus he had spoken (eparrēsiasato | ἐπαρρησιάσατο | aor mid ind 3 sg) out boldly in the name of Jesus.

And this is the confidence (parrēsia | παρρησία | nom sg fem) we have as we approach him: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

By this, love is fully realized among us, so that we may have confidence (parrēsian | παρρησίαν | acc sg fem) in the day of judgment; because just as he is, so also are we in this world.

Dear friends, if our conscience does not condemn us, we have confidence (parrēsian | παρρησίαν | acc sg fem) in the presence of God,

And now, dear children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence (parrēsian | παρρησίαν | acc sg fem) and not be put to shame in his presence when he comes.

Therefore do not throw away your boldness (parrēsian | παρρησίαν | acc sg fem), which has great reward.

Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence (parrēsian | παρρησίαν | acc sg fem) to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,

Therefore let us approach with confidence (parrēsias | παρρησίας | gen sg fem) the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help when we need it.
