And God spoke thus, that Abraham’s descendants would be sojourners (paroikon | πάροικον | nom sg neut) in a foreign land, and that the people would enslave and mistreat them four hundred years.
And if you call upon him as Father who judges impartially according to the work of each, conduct yourselves with fear during the time of your exile (paroikias | παροικίας | gen sg fem),
The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and made the people great during their stay (paroikia | παροικίᾳ | dat sg fem) in the land of Egypt; then with uplifted arm he led them out of it.
By faith he migrated (parōkēsen | παρῴκησεν | aor act ind 3 sg) to the land he had been promised, as to a foreign land, living in tents as did Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise,

But the Lord stood (parestē | παρέστη | aor act ind 3 sg) by (parestē | παρέστη | aor act ind 3 sg) me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fulfilled, namely, all the Gentiles might hear, and I was rescued from the mouth of a lion.
Be diligent to (parastēsai | παραστῆσαι | aor act inf ) present (parastēsai | παραστῆσαι | aor act inf ) yourself before God as one tried and true, an unashamed worker, correctly handling the word of truth.
He is the one we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present (parastēsōmen | παραστήσωμεν | aor act subj 1 pl) everyone mature in Christ.
