“Beware (prosechete | προσέχετε | pres act imperative 2 pl) of those scribes, who like to walk around in flowing robes, and love greetings in the marketplaces and the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at feasts,
In the meantime, when many thousands of the crowd had gathered so that they were trampling one another, Jesus began to say (to his disciples first), “Beware (prosechete | προσέχετε | pres act imperative 2 pl) of the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.
